The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Lawrence J. Lau, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; as well as a number of professors and senior members of the University. They included Prof. Chan Lai-wan and Prof. Helen Meng, Assistant Deans of Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Fanny Cheung, Chairman, Department of Psychology; Prof. Chan Hsiao-chang, Director of the Epithelial Cell Biology Research Centre; Mrs. Grace Chow, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid.

In the meeting, CUHK representatives introduced to the delegation the University's latest development and its outstanding areas of research. The delegation was particularly interested in the research on Gender Studies and the University's mainland student admission affairs. Thereafter, the delegation visited the campus and the Art Museum, where the tour was introduced by Prof. Peter Lam, Director of Art Museum.

The visit enabled better understanding between CUHK and All-China Women's Federation and built up friendship between the two parties.
