3. ITSC Regular User Group Meetings

We have meetings with students, LAN administrators and webmasters regularly, with aims of maintaining close communication with them. These user groups are,

ITSC Student User Consultation Committee
The Committee is composed of student representatives of University and college student unions, mainland undergraduate association, postgraduate student association, faculties, and staff representative of OSA. The meeting allows us to proactively consult users before any services are launched, changed or decommissioned. Visit the Committee homepage for details.

LAN Administrators
We meet LAN Admins regularly to disseminate information related to their supporting departmental LAN, enhance technology transfer and exchange the latest IT development in CUHK. Our last meeting was held on 1 Aug 2013 focusing on Kaspersky anti-virus software upgrade.

Only those had registered to the LAN Admin Resources Website will receive meeting invitation. If you are LAN Administrators but have not registered yet, please do it at https://satcom.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/signup9.asp

Webmaster Community
The formation of the CUHK webmaster community, spearheaded by ISO and ITSC, aims to strengthen communication and collaboration among CUHK webmasters and web administrators. The last meeting was held on 8 Aug 2013 focusing on web development in CUHK and trends on social media marketing. For past presentation materials, please visit here.

ITSC meets different user groups regularly to maintain close contacts.
