1st Welfare Product Design Competition The Seventh Residents' Association organized its first Welfare Product Design Competition in March 2022. All College students were invited to submit a computer bag design for the Competition by early March and vote for the best design during 17 and 24 March 2022. Three students joined the Competition and 60 students cast their votes. The winner was TAM How Yee (Year 1, Chinese Language and Literature). The winning design incorporated the use of Meme to connect with an experience shared by CWC students.CWC's Sound This event, previously held during communal dinners, was called off due to the suspension of communal dinners during the last two years. The Seventh Residents' Association decided to turn this event online. A website was built to provide a platform for all College students to share their archived playlists or All-Time Favourite Songs with other College-mates. Students were welcome to share playlists and songs in any categories with word descriptions; 27 students participated in this event during Term 2, 2021–22. The Residents' Association also shared their RA's Pick monthly for students to enjoy good music together.Movie in 'Wonderland' Movie Night was one of the regular events of the Residents' Association. However, it has also been suspended due to the pandemic. In Term 2, 2021–22, the Residents' Association set up a website for students to share movies that they appreciate. All CWC students were invited to submit their movie recommendations or movie reviews. By mid-May, 22 movies were recommended and 6 students shared their reviews. On the same platform, students can also find movies to watch from the monthly RA's Pick list. |
