| Prof. Lawrence J. Lau, Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Prof. Sammuel Sun, Master-designate of S. H. Ho College visited Peking University on 23 February. They met with Prof. Zhou Qifeng, President of Peking University and Prof. Lu Xiaodong of Yuanpei College and signed agreements for student exchange.
CUHK has established a general collaborative agreement with Peking University since 1985. In 2003, CUHK signed a student exchange agreement and since then, CUHK has sent 71 students to Peking University and has accepted 76 students from Peking University for semester-long or year-long exchanges. In the visit, the two universities renewed the student exchange MoU. Besides, they also signed an agreement for student exchange between Yuanpei College, Peking University and S.H. Ho College, CUHK. The signing ceremony of letter of intent between Yuanpei College and S.H. Ho College was held on 15th December, 2008. |
