Delegation from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University

A 6-member delegation led by Prof. Lan Siren, President of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU) visited CUHK on 29 August 2011. During the visit, a collaboration agreement on life sciences was signed between the two universities.

The delegation was warmly greeted by Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK and was introduced to the latest development of the University during the meeting. The delegates also visited the School of Life Sciences where they met with Prof. Chu Ka-hou, Director of the School, Prof. Lam Hon-ming, and Prof. He Junxian. During the visit, the two parties agreed to further strengthen academic exchange on life science and reached a collaboration agreement between the School of Life Sciences of CUHK and the College of Life Science of FAFU.

 

Through the visit, the delegation learned more about of the University and its research development. The collaboration agreement also forged the cooperation of the two parties in developing close collaborations in academic exchange in life sciences.
