4. Our Colleagues Awarded in the Exemplary Service 2012-13

We are pleased to announce that two ITSC staff members have received the Exemplary Service Award 2012-13, organized by the Personnel Office, in recognition of their outstanding customer services.

Mr. Denning Chan (Infrastructure Division) has been awarded the "Exemplary Service Award 2012-13". He is mainly responsible for supporting the University information technology infrastructure, such as IP Phone and Central Door Access Control System. Denning is an experienced and responsible team worker who is always willing to help his colleagues. He sets a good example for us in providing excellent service in the university community. Although Denning always works behind the scene, his role is definitely essential to our Centre and the University.

Ms. Sheila Guo (User Support Division) has received the merit award. Her major responsibility is coordinating the Student IT Competence Programme, including IT test operation, programme administration, external communication and etc. Sheila also handles user enquiries about CUHK Web Server, E-mail System, Mobile Device, Digital Certificate and Mass Mail Service. Sheila often works in the frontline in Pi Chiu User Areas and WMY Learning Commons. You can see her friendly face at our Service Desk while visiting the area.
