| Orientation Session for Freshmen of the Division of Biomedical Sciences | |

The orientation session for newly admitted freshmen to the Division of Biomedical Sciences in 2014-2015 was successfully held by the SBS Postgraduate Student Association (SBS PSA) on 6 August 2014. During the event, Mr. Wang Yubing, President of SBS PSA, warmly welcomed the freshmen by giving them a brief introduction of the School, the history of SBS PSA and the activities organized by the Association so far. Other senior students also shared with them their experience in research and study. Apart from ice-breaking games, the participating newcomers were briefed on the organization of SBS Postgraduate Research Day 2013. With the encouragement of senior students, many of the newly-admitted freshmen volunteered to join the organizing committee of the SBS Postgraduate Research Day 2014. The orientation session allows our freshmen to have joyful and fruitful discussions with their fellow schoolmates, and also helps them acclimatize to the new research environment in the School. |
