You like shooting a video for demonstration; you like capturing your lecture for students to revise; you like using the lecture recording system Echo360. Now, we have a change in 2017–18 Term 2.

A Review Committee, consisting of faculty members and student representatives, was set up to review the lecture recording solutions available in the market in 2016. After rounds of evaluations, the Committee recommended replacement of Echo360 with Panopto.  

With the new video management features of Panopto, the "Lecture Recording Service @CUHK" is now upgraded to "Teaching and Learning Video Service @CUHK". 

Consider Panopto, the new centralized system, to manage your videos.  Simply drag and drop videos to upload them into the system, or use the Panopto recorder software to records lectures in classrooms and lecture theatres, create videos with your own computer, and share them with your students.  You can also edit the videos, add in-video questions, and track view statistics. 

Instructors, teaching support staff and TAs can now try out Panopto via Blackboard.
