To mark the end of another academic year, colleagues from C&I trooped off to the Sha Tin Star Seafood Floating Restaurant for another great lunch on 4 June 2009. We had a very good turnout, with about 26 colleagues – past, present and future – managing to make the event a most enjoyable and animated occasion.

Apart from enjoying a great meal, there were some formalities to attend to, one of which involved bidding farewell to two colleagues who have been with us for well over a decade, Man Yee Fun Evelyn and Lee Fong Lok. Hopefully you'll see them in next year's photos.

The weather was very kind to us, as you can see from the photos taken on the steps of the restaurant.

September 2009

        As a welcome back and start to the new year, on 4 September 2009, C&I hosted a lunch for old friends to say hi to each other after the summer break and to welcome on board our new C&I colleagues Jong Siu Yung Morris and Yin Hong Biao.

        It was a well-attended event with 23 colleagues turning up. After a light lunch, we moved to the main event where six colleagues shared their experiences regarding supervising doctoral students.
