Symposium on Internationalization of Student Affairs Issues in Higher Education

Internationalization of higher education in the Asia Pacific region has developed for more than a decade. While institutions have been working towards the common goal of offering tailor-made services to promote internationalization, what are the new challenges and opportunities facing them? What can the student affairs and services personnel do to better cope with the internationalization on increasingly diverse campuses?

The Office of Student Affairs is going to organise the Symposium on Internationalization of Student Affairs Issues in Higher Education [SIHE(SA)] on 25 and 26 January 2018 at CUHK that aims to serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas, sharing of effective strategies in the internationalization of higher education in student affairs and to build up a network of practitioners. During the two-day Symposium, the keynote speakers will explore the core professional development of student affairs and services personnel, as well as the future trends of relevant issues in higher education. At the four seminars, speakers from local and overseas institutions will share their experience and expertise on topics related to students' learning, residential life, partnership with students, and student support.
