OALC organized a lunar new year gathering for visiting scholars under our Mainland and Taiwan Visiting Scholar Programme and Hong Kong Scholars Programme on 17 February 2016., enjoying the spring festive atmosphere in the University together.

CUHK attendees include Prof. Wong Po Keung, School of Life Sciences; Prof. Qin Ling, Director of Musculoskeletal Research Laboratory; and Ms Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China). They met with visiting scholars from Tsinghua University, Institute of Metal Research of the Chinese Academy of Science, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, South China University of Science and Jiangsu Normal University.  Participants shared their experience in the University as well as in their teaching and research in Hong Kong.

To forge academic exchange and collaboration between CUHK and its partner institutions, OALC launched the Mainland and Taiwan Visiting Scholar Programme in 2008 and started coordinating the Hong Kong Scholars Programme in 2015.  Enquiries on the two programmes can be forwarded to Miss Jennifer Chan of our office at 39438728 or via jenniferchan@cuhk.edu.hk.
