I·CARE Social Service Projects Scheme: Second Round of Application Opened

The I·CARE Social Service Projects Scheme encourages students to organise and implement self-initiated social services.  Three rounds of vetting are available in 2018-19.  Students may submit applications according to the commencement date of their projects and the amount of funds required, and the 2nd round is now opened.  To equip students with competence in rendering social services, this Centre will also organise training activities every round.  The upcoming one has been confirmed as a Workshop cum Sharing Session.  The relevant details are as follows:

Eligibility

CUHK students, student groups and university units (projects must be initiated by students)

Service Nature

Projects could take place in Hong Kong, Mainland China or overseas, but must be self-devised.

Application deadline:23 January 2019
Earliest project start date:9 March 2019

Maximum Funding Approved

HK$20,000 per project
