Professor Cheng Pui Wan was awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Exemplary Teaching Award 2008.

Professor Chang Lei was awarded the Exemplary Teaching Award in General Education 2008-2009.

Professor Hau Kit Tai was awarded the Research Excellence Award 2008-2009, Faculty of Education.

Professor Leung Seung Ming Alvin was selected as a recipient of a 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award from the College of Education, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
