At Congregation, AAO set up booths at the University Mall and 4 Colleges to pass on their best wishes to the graduates
Triple Happiness
Graduates have many reasons to feel joyous at the moment when they are receiving a University degree. A total of 5,903 degrees were conferred at the Congregation held last month. These included 200 Doctoral degrees, 2,921 Master's degrees and 2,782 Bachelor's degree.

Riding on this happy occasion, AAO set up booths at the University Mall and 4 Colleges to pass on their best wishes to the graduates. Staff stationing at the booths also gave out pamphlets to and answered the enquiries of the graduates in order to help them understand how they could maintain a life-long relationship with their Alma Mater. Many graduates were please to find that they are being offered many privileges as they become alumni of the University.

There is also good news to the University: over 1,800 graduates from the class of 2006 participated in the "2006 Graduating Class Pledge Scheme" organized by the Office of Institutional Advancement of the University. To share their happiness as graduates and to give back to the University, they pledged to donate a total of approximately $1 million to their Alma Mater in 3 years' time.

Interested to give back to the University and support its development? Please see below for details!
