Appointment of Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee as Co-opted Member of the Working Group on Regulation of Premises Processing Health Products for Advanced Therapies by the Food and Health Bureau

Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee, Chief of the ProgrStem Cell and Regeneration am and the Managing Director of the Core Laboratories of our School, has recently been appointed by the Food and Health Bureau, HKSAR Government, as a co-opted member of the Working Group on Regulation of Premises Processing Health Products for Advanced Therapies (Working Group) under the Steering Committee on Review of Regulation of Private Healthcare Facilities.

The Working Group will define the range of health products for advanced therapies that could be conducted in laboratory/ambulatory settings, and examine whether and how to impose regulatory control on premises where health products for advanced therapies are processed.

The appointment recognizes not only Prof. Lee's outstanding academic credentials but also his wealth of experience in public service over the years.
