Banquet with Chief Secretary for Administration Mr Henry Tang by JCAA

Mr Henry Tang, Chief Secretary for Administration of HKSAR Government, will speak at the 2008 dinner of the Journalism and Communication Alumni Association (JCAA) of CUHK as Guest of Honour. The dinner gathering is hosted annually to enhance the bond among graduates from the School of Journalism and Communication (JLM). Details are as follows:

Distinguished Public Lecture by Dr Gao Xingjian and World Premiere of His Play "Of Mountains and Seas"

United College Design Competition for Moral Education Promotions

Organized by the Taskforce on Students' Well-being of United College, the competition consists of three categories, namely, bookmark template, sticker template and mascot or symbolic image. The winning designs will be used to produce the promotional materials for distribution to students in the academic year of 2008-09. UC alumni are welcome to join.

Baby Bamboo Operation - Service Trip to Gansu

Baby Bamboo Operation (小扁擔勵學行動), the non-profit operation of the Federation of CUHK Alumni Associations' Education Foundation addressing educational needs for poverty-stricken areas in China, will hold a 7 to 8 days volunteer service trip to Gansu. Children of alumni aged between 17 and 25 are welcome to join.
