Delegation led by Guangdong Provincial Government
A 13-member delegation led by Prof. Wei Zhonglin, Vice Secretary General of the Education Department of Guangdong Provincial Government visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 27 June 2014. The aim of the visit was to understand the University and its collaboration projects in Mainland China, particularly in Guangdong.
The delegation comprised heads and representatives from the Education Department and Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Guangdong Provincial Government, as well as senior members of universities in Guangdong Province. The delegates were warmly received by Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Benjamin Wah, Provost; and Prof. Hau Kit-tai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor. Meeting was held to introduce and discuss the recent developments of the University in Mainland collaboration. The delegation also visited the University Gallery and toured the CUHK campus.
Through meetings and discussions, the delegates obtained a better understanding of CUHK and learned more about its academic exchange activities in Mainland China. The visit also nurtured friendship and strengthened ties between CUHK and its Mainland partners in Guangdong.

Delegation from Zhejiang University
Mr. Jin Deshui, Party Secretary of Zhejiang University led an 8-member delegation to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 30 June 2014 to understand the campus development and college system of the University.
The delegation was greeted by Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Fung Tung, Associate-Vice-President; Prof. Joseph Lau, Master of Lee Woo Sing College; and Mr. Fung Siu-man, Director of Campus Development. CUHK representatives introduced to the delegation the recent campus development of the University and the college system. The delegates next visited Lee Woo Sing College to get to know the unique college system in CUHK. Through the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to understand more about the University and establish links for further collaboration.
Zhejiang University and CUHK established partnership since 1991 and have been collaborating in a wide variety of areas. The visit further enhanced understanding and bolstered the linkage between the two universities.

Delegation from East China Normal University
Prof. Ren Youqun, Vice President of East China Normal University (ECNU) led a 5-member delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 12 June 2014. The visit was paid to explore collaboration opportunities with Faculty of Education.
The delegation was warmly received by CUHK representatives including Prof. Hau Kit-tai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; and Prof. Alvin Leung, Dean of Education. In the meeting, presentations were given on the development of the University and the Faculty of Education. CUHK representatives and delegates had discussions on expanding collaboration in education. After visiting the Faculty of Education, the delegation toured the campus to enhance their understanding of the University and its unique college system. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and to build up links between the two universities.
