United College 63rd Anniversary Ceremony |
|
The UC 63rd Anniversary Ceremony was held on 18 October 2019 at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. Ms Lina H Y Yan, MH, JP, Chairman of the College Board of Trustees and Professor Chan Wai-yee, Pro-Vice-Chancellor / Vice-President, Master of CW Chu College and Director of the School of Biomedical Sciences, Tha Chinese University of Hong Kong, officiated the Ceremony and Delivered speeches. The College took this memorable occasion to present the United College Early Career Research Excellence Award and United College Ming De Scholarship to College young scholar, Professor Chu Wai-kit from the Department of Opthalmology and Visual Sciences and College frsh graduate, Miss Serena Y B Yue (19/BCHE) respectively. College Trustees and guests conducted the birthday cake cutting ceremony on stage, celebrating the 63rd Anniversary of the College.
