Kamenori Earth Youth Summit |

In celebration of the College 60th Anniversary and the 10th Anniversary of the Kamenori Foundation in Japan, United College and the Kamenori Foundation jointly organised a Kamenori Earth Youth Summit (KEYS) during 15-22 August 2017. 32 students from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam formed small groups to conduct academic research on the main theme Current Issues and Prospects for Tomorrow's Asia – Towards "One Asia".At the Student Summit on 21 August, students presented their research findings on five topics: 'Air Pollution in East Asia', 'Income Gap is Inevitable', 'Inequality of Education in East Asia', 'Gender Inequality and Depopulation' and 'Aging Population'. Dr Alex K Yasumoto, Founder of the Kamenori Foundation (2nd left) and Professor Jimmy C M Yu, College Head (2nd right) presented certificate of attendance to participating students.
