2018至2019年度新生開學典禮

Initiation Ceremony for Freshmen 2018-2019

本年度書院新生開學典禮已於2018年9月7日假邵逸夫堂舉行，近六十位嘉賓出席典禮。院長余濟美教授、副院長兼輔導長劉行榕教授及書院學生會會長何梓峯同學分別於開學禮向新生致辭，歡迎本屆新生加入書院的大家庭，鼓勵他們作好接受挑戰的準備，積極參與書院的活動，善用大學及書院提供的設施及機會，發揮個人潛能並在未來多關心和服務社會。

The 2018-2019 United College Initiation Ceremony for Freshmen was held on 7 September 2018 at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. Around 60 guests attended the ceremony. At the ceremony, Professor Jimmy C M Yu, College Head; Professor Alaster H Y Lau, Associate College Head and Dean of Students; and Mr Ivan T F Ho, President of the College Student Union, delivered welcoming speeches to the freshmen. They welcomed all new students to join the College's big family and encouraged them to be prepared for challenges ahead. They also advised freshmen to actively participate in College's activities and make good use of the facilities and opportunities provided by the University and the College, in order to develop their potentials, care for and serve the society in the future.
